Lent | Week 5: What Jesus Did for YouSample

Jesus Took Your Place
Imagine standing in a courtroom, guilty of something you could never undo. The sentence is just, and there’s no way out—until someone steps forward and takes your place. They take the punishment you deserved, not because they have to, but because they love you that much.
That’s exactly what Jesus did for you. He took on the weight of your sin, suffering so that you could experience peace with God. Though sinless, he became the ultimate sacrifice, giving his life so that you could be free. His love for you led him to the cross, and his sacrifice changed everything.
When you think about what Jesus has done for you, how does it change the way you live? How will you respond to his love and sacrifice today?
Pray: Jesus, thank you for taking my place on the cross. Your sacrifice means everything to me. Help me to live in the light of your love. Amen.
