God on Earth

Jesus understands every weakness of ours, because he was tempted in every way that we are. But he did not sin!

Do you feel like God is so far away? Do you ever wonder if God has any idea what it’s like to be a kid? It might be a little like you and a fish. You can’t talk to the fish, and you don’t know what it’s like to live under water. You live in two separate worlds!

But God is different. He loves you and wants to be with you so much that he became a person like you. That person was Jesus—God’s only son but also God living on Earth!

Jesus could have come as a mighty king or a gentle angel or a strong soldier, but he came as a baby. He grew up just like you’re growing up. He knows what it is like to be a kid, to stub your toe, and to be sad when your friend can’t play. He knows how hard it is to do what’s right—but Jesus still never did anything bad. Imagine! He lived his whole life without ever making a bad decision.

God knows you and is with you, so he knows how to help you. Don’t be afraid to ask him for help today!
