Pouring Out Your OilSample

Lock the Door – The Secret Place
Scripture:
2 Kings 4:4 – "Then go inside and shut the door behind you and your sons. Pour oil into all the jars, and as each is filled, put it to one side."
Description:
There is work that needs to be done to prepare and package the oil that you are going to share with the world. Nobody sees the investments and sacrifices that are made behind closed doors.
When you are co-labouring with the Lord, there is supernatural empowerment to do what He has called you to do. However, there is no way around the fact that you will have to put some time and effort into it.
Public impact is always preceded by private encounters.
The miracle of the oil happened behind closed doors. The anointing flows in the secret place, in the moments of intimacy with God.
Application:
Schedule a specific time today to shut the door—disconnect from distractions, and spend uninterrupted time with God.
Prayer:
Lord, I desire a deeper intimacy with You. Help me to prioritise my secret place with You, knowing that it is there that my oil is multiplied. Pour into me as I spend time in Your presence. In Jesus' name, Amen.

It’s time to pour! The world needs the words God has placed inside of you.
