The Strength of WeaknessSample

Jeremiah: the insecure young man
Jeremiah was not a strong or confident man when God called him. In fact, he was a boy full of insecurities. When the Lord spoke to him to entrust him with the mission of prophet to the nations, his reaction was immediate: “Alas, Lord, I do not know how to speak, for I am a boy!”.
Like many others called by God, Jeremiah felt inadequate. The task God gave him was difficult: he had to preach to a rebellious people and announce severe judgments. He felt too small, inexperienced, incapable of facing such a responsibility.
But God did not accept his excuses. He answered him firmly: “Do not say, ‘I am a boy.’ For you will go to all to whom I send you, and you will speak all that I command you.” Not only that, God promised him His protection and put His words in his mouth, equipping him for the ministry.
Jeremiah’s life was not easy: he was persecuted, imprisoned, and rejected by his own people. Yet, God was always with him, making him one of the most powerful prophetic voices in the Bible.
Like Jeremiah, we may feel too small, inexperienced, or incapable of doing what God calls us to do. But God does not rely on our abilities; when He calls, He Himself provides the strength, words, and courage we need. We must not let our insecurities hold us back, because our ability comes from God.

About this Plan

God has a strange habit: He chooses the imperfect and unsuitable people to do His great works. Not superheroes, not the strongest or the bravest, but precisely those who feel too weak, insecure and, let's face it, sometimes even a little disastrous. And yet, it is precisely on them that God builds His plan, transforming them with His love and grace. A bit like a craftsman who takes a block of rough marble and, with patience and mastery, creates an extraordinary work.
