The Compassionate Heart Of JesusSample

All throughout the Scriptures there is evidence of God's love for the poor. He cared about them and how they were treated. In this passage, He instructs landowners and farmers to leave a portion of their harvest for the poor. Although we may not be farmers, we can still leave a portion of what we do have, money, a new coat, or a grocery bag of food for the poor. Ask God how you can help those less advantaged than yourself.

About this Plan

In an encounter between Moses and the Almighty on Mount Sinai, the Lord declares He is compassionate. The gospels record this same heart of compassion exuding from Jesus Christ while He was on earth. In this 40-day devotional read scriptures and reflective thoughts on Biblical compassion.
