Journeying to Easter - Part 1Sample

First things first
Lent, Feb Fast, a Feb reset after the festive season… no matter what you call it, this 40-day period in the lead-up to Easter is about preparing our hearts again and having our priorities straight. I know very few people who, at the start of a period of fasting, approach it with excitement. However, I do know MANY who have experienced the blessing, refreshing, and peace afterwards. ‘He who takes refuge in the shelter of the Most High will be safe in the shadow of the Almighty… My shelter, my mighty fortress, my God, I place all my trust in You’ (Psalm 91:1–2, Voice).
I’ve walked with friends as they ‘take refuge in the shelter of the Most High’, putting Him first as they believe for children, jobs, healing, financial breakthrough, restorations. I’ve seen God answer them and walk with them. Does that mean a dramatic change of circumstance? Not always, but I’ve seen that, as they put God first, He rescued and honoured them, giving them supernatural peace and strength for their season. How are you preparing for your dreams to come to pass? Write them down, then consider a time of fasting, putting God first, above all, and finding shelter and rest in Him.

About this Plan

“In these next days and weeks leading up to Easter we’ll explore different scriptures. Each verse a thread in the tapestry of God’s great big redemption story – all culminating in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. In this Easter season, let’s slow down and create a regular rhythm of remembrance together.” (Lent – Lucy Weil)
