Lent Youth Guide | Jesus' Real Talk During His Hardest & Darkest MomentsSample

Think:
At the end of John 18:12, Jesus is arrested and taken to the high priest’s house. His surrender wasn’t a sign of weakness; it was an act of obedience to the Father. Jesus’ willingness to go to the cross was part of God’s greater plan for humanity. Sometimes surrendering feels like giving up, but it’s actually a powerful act of trust.
Live:
Today, take time to reflect on areas of your life where God is calling you to surrender. It might be a relationship, your future plans, or a specific area of sin. Surrendering is an act of trust, and when we do, we open ourselves up to God’s perfect will for our lives. Ask God to help you trust Him fully, just as Jesus did.
Pray:
Jesus, I ask for the grace to seek You above all else and to follow You with trust and surrender. Amen.

You will be guided with four action words to help you on this Lent journey. You are invited to Read, Think, Live and Pray as we explore the real talk of Jesus during his hardest & darkest moments. You are invited to reflect on the content and your experiences at the end of each week.
