She Believed She Could: A 5-Day Journey to Overcoming Limiting BeliefsSample

Overcoming Fear with Faith
Fear can feel like an unshakable shadow, following us into every new chapter and opportunity. I’ve experienced this personally, especially during seasons when everything felt uncertain. When I stepped into a new role, launched a new project, or found myself at a turning point, fear was often the loudest voice in the room. It whispered, What if you fail? What if you’re not enough?
I vividly remember when fear almost stopped me from sharing my recovery story publicly. I was terrified—of judgment, being misunderstood, and falling short. Stepping outside our comfort zones amplifies fear, so in seasons where fear-based thoughts are louder than your self-belief, let Isaiah 41:10 remind you that you are not alone. His strength will sustain you, and His righteous hand will hold you steady.
I took a step forward despite the fear. And do you know what happened? God showed up. He gave me the courage to speak, and that moment of obedience opened doors I never imagined possible. That experience taught me something powerful: fear will always try to have a voice, but it doesn’t get the final say. The ripple effect that came from trusting Him changed the trajectory of my life and impact. I urge you to look inward and ask yourself if you’re holding yourself back. Now, think deeply about the positive things that could happen if you trusted yourself and your calling, believing that God is with you every step of the way.
Psalm 23:4 assures us that even when we walk through life’s darkest valleys, God’s presence goes with us. His rod and staff are our comfort, guiding and protecting us. Psalm 56:3 reminds us that fear is an invitation to trust—when I am afraid, I put my trust in Him.
Today, take a moment to identify one fear holding you back. Write it down and surrender it to God in prayer. Reflect on the times He has been faithful in your life. Maybe He carried you through a challenging season, opened a door you didn’t expect, or provided peace in the middle of a storm. Let those memories remind you of His unwavering presence.
Fear doesn’t mean you’re weak—it means you’re human. But God’s strength is greater than your fear. Trust Him to strengthen and help you. With His power, you are limitless and fully capable of overcoming the fear that’s holding you back.
