What God Won't DoSample

God Will Never Leave You
Loneliness is scary. It can make us feel hopeless. It can make us feel like nobody cares. But feeling alone doesn't mean we are alone. God promises that he will never leave us. In Deuteronomy 31:6, God promises to never abandon us and that he will “go ahead” as a guide.
Mark 14:34-42 and Hebrews 4:15 reveal that Jesus understands what it means to feel lonely. He felt let down by the disciples because they couldn’t stay awake to pray with him. He was “deeply troubled and distressed” that his closest friends let him down. He felt so alone that he felt “crushed with grief to the point of death.”
He gets it. He knows what feeling alone can do to us, and he “understands our weaknesses.” Because of this, he promised to be next to us as we walk through even the darkest times of life.
In times of fear and uncertainty, we can take comfort in knowing that God is always with us. He never abandons us. Reflect on God's constant Presence and draw strength and courage from his Unwavering Support. Trust that no matter what challenges arise, God is by our side, guiding and sustaining us.
