Week 1: Being Human in the Age of AISample

As you explore today’s Scripture verses, you’ll experience the magnificent unfolding of creation, reaching its pinnacle when God creates humanity in his own image.
Genesis 2:7 gives us a clear picture of this moment when God forms Adam from the dust and breathes into his nostrils the breath of life. This is what sets us apart from all other creatures: God’s very Spirit gives us life and makes us unique. This means that our identity and purpose are rooted in the character of the one who created us.
While each of us has infinite significance to God, we are not the central characters of the story; God is. As his image bearers, we are called to reflect his love to the world and take care of creation in a way that brings him glory.
Read: Genesis 1:26-28 and Genesis 2:7
