Quiet Time Moments for WomenSample

The Greatest Realization
Christ’s love is greater than anyone can know.
Ephesians 3:19
Karl Barth, one of the greatest theologians of the twentieth century, was once asked how he would summarize the essence of his teaching. Barth thought for a moment and then replied, “Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so.”
Like Barth, you may have a great intellect, but the greatest truth you can reflect on is that Christ loved you enough to lay down His life for you. In turbulent times, clouds of doubt can often limit your spiritual vision, and you may begin to question Christ’s love. When this happens, turn your gaze to the cross. Someone once said, “It wasn’t the nails that held Him to the cross, but His love for you.”
Watch Christ set His course for Jerusalem, with Him knowing incomprehensible suffering awaited Him there. He sacrificed His life to give you eternal life. His love is truly greater than anyone can know.
Lord, thank You for Your great love for me—greater than I can comprehend. Thank You for dying on the cross for me that I might live with You forever. Amen.
