Building Living BridgesSample

The Importance of Community Support
In the living bridges of India, bamboo is used to guide the roots as they grow. Over time, the roots strengthen, making the initial support unnecessary. This practice reminds us of the vital role community plays in our faith journey.
No Christian is called to walk alone. God created us to live in communion, sharing burdens and encouraging one another. The church is the support that guides us as we grow spiritually. Friends and mentors help us see beyond difficulties, pointing to God’s truth when our own eyes are obscured by circumstances.
The apostle Paul instructs us to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). When we come together, we strengthen spiritual roots that withstand storms. Just as living bridges become stronger with mutual support, shared faith within a community creates a firm, unshakable foundation.
Have you been seeking spiritual support? Or have you been offering support to those in need? May we cultivate relationships that lead to growth in Christ, guiding and being guided until our faith is unshakable.
