The Sound of Worship: Lessons From RevelationSample

Forever
Have you ever had something happen where you realized everything would change from that moment on? Maybe you met someone you’ve always dreamed of meeting, or you attended a camp that changed the way you think or feel about yourself. Or maybe you passed your driver's test or went on a trip that changed your life. In the scripture you will read today, John experiences a moment that changes everything FOREVER.
Go Deep
Read Revelation 11:15-19.
The seventh trumpet is blown, signaling that God’s Kingdom is here to stay and Jesus will reign forever! This is a promise we can hold onto throughout life’s challenges. When we experience chaos, loneliness, and trials, this passage is proof that God is, was, and always will be in control. Heaven celebrates this victory, with loud voices proclaiming that the kingdom of the world has now become God’s kingdom!
Be Bold
We can take comfort in knowing that God’s Kingdom is forever unshakeable. Even when things seem tough, we can trust that God’s plan is greater than anything we face. This is a promise that lasts forever!
What are some areas of your life where you feel uncertain or anxious? How can knowing that God will reign forever give you peace in those situations?
Who in your life needs to know this peace? What will you do today to share the peace of our forever King with them?
Memorize it
“We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty,
the One who is and who was,
because you have taken your great power
and have begun to reign."
- Revelation 11:17
