Values Bible Plan Sample

DAY 7: COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
“Pursue the well-being of the city”
Where a city is clean the people are prosperous
God has strategically placed specific people in specific cities, towns and communities to make a difference. Each one of us has gifts, time and resources that we can use to transform communities and it starts with one person at a time.
God has called us for the vulnerable, this is pure and undefiled religion to care for the orphan and the widow. The reason for community development is that the world is covered with injustice. That's why God has called us to care for his people.
Often our greatest desire is to change the world in masses, it's not impossible, but rebuilding a community, city, town, a nation starts with one person. When people come together they can impact communities with the good news of the Kingdom of God carrying God's heart to the poorest of the poor and see our cities transformed.
When we see families transformed, we will see communities and cities transformed.
"You'll use the old rubble of past lives to build anew, rebuild the foundations from out of your past. You'll be known as those who can fix anything, restore old ruins, rebuild and renovate, make the community liveable again."
