We Grow: A Journey of Drawing Closer to GodSample

Day 82 of 365
In Numbers 35, God designates cities of refuge, safe havens for those seeking mercy and protection. These cities reflect God’s heart for compassion and justice, offering sanctuary to the vulnerable and peace to the distressed. The Holy Spirit shows us that God Himself is our ultimate refuge, a place where we can find forgiveness, healing, and restoration. In His presence, every fear is calmed, and every wound is soothed. We can trust Him to cover us with His mercy and love, regardless of our past.
In Luke 1, Zechariah’s prophecy about John points to Jesus as the light for those in darkness. The Spirit reminds us that Jesus is our safe haven, our source of forgiveness and freedom. He brings us from darkness into His marvelous light, guiding us toward peace and new life.
Today, invite the Holy Spirit to be your refuge. Hand over any burdens, guilt, or fears, and let His presence assure you of God’s unshakable love and safety. In Him, you are fully accepted, healed, and restored.
