We Grow: A Journey of Drawing Closer to GodSample

Day 59 of 365
In Leviticus 11-12, God gives laws of purity, teaching His people to live differently from the surrounding nations. While the laws were external, they pointed to an internal truth: God desires a pure heart, one that seeks Him above all else. The Holy Spirit cleanses us from the inside out, guiding us into purity that isn’t about outward rules but about inner transformation. Through Him, we’re freed from anything that defiles, led into a life that reflects God’s holiness and love.
In Mark 7, Jesus challenges the Pharisees, pointing out that true defilement comes from within, from a heart disconnected from God. The Spirit convicts and purifies us, helping us turn away from anything that separates us from God’s presence and purpose.
Today, invite the Spirit to purify your heart. Let Him reveal any areas that need cleansing, leading you to live a life that is wholly devoted to God, honoring Him in all you do.
