We Grow: A Journey of Drawing Closer to GodSample

Day 31 of 365
In Genesis 33, Jacob humbly meets Esau, seeking reconciliation after years of estrangement. Jacob’s act of surrender paves the way for restored relationship, showing how God’s purposes can unfold when we let go of our pride. The Holy Spirit empowers us to live in this same posture of surrender, aligning our desires with God’s will rather than our own agendas.
In Matthew 20, Jesus tells His disciples about His coming sacrifice, exemplifying a life fully surrendered to God’s plan. The Spirit guides us into this type of submission, teaching us to trust God’s wisdom even when His plans lead us into unknown or uncomfortable territory.
Today, invite the Holy Spirit to help you surrender areas where you’re holding back. Ask Him to lead you in aligning your heart with God’s purposes, trusting that His will is always good.
