Jesus’ first message in His hometown was from this passage. Can you imagine reading the words of an ancient prophet and it causing such a stir that they were ready to kill you? Jesus knew exactly what to say and He knew the words were true. If only we could receive the timely Word as it was being preached. May our hearts stay soft before God today.

About this Plan
Welcome to a plan that is designed to go slower together. We wanted to take things slow to allow for better meditation - one chapter a day covering every major division of the Bible. We staggered the order as well in order to keep things fresh. We have chosen a book from the Torah, historical books, the poetic writings, and the Prophets from the Old Testament. And, in the New Testament we have a Gospel, Pauline epistle, Hebrews, and the Revelation.
