Journey With Jesus 365Sample

In John 16, Jesus continues to prepare His disciples for the time when He will no longer be physically present with them. He speaks about the coming challenges and persecutions they will face for His sake, urging them to remain steadfast in their faith. Jesus reassures them of the arrival of the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, who will guide them into all truth and provide the strength needed to endure adversity. He explains that the Spirit will convict the world concerning sin, righteousness, and judgment. Jesus acknowledges the sorrow His disciples feel at His coming departure. He promises that their grief will turn to joy when they see Him again after His resurrection. He uses the analogy of a woman in labor, whose pain turns to joy once the child is born, to illustrate the transformative power of His resurrection. Jesus concludes with a message of hope and victory, declaring that although they will face tribulation in the world, He has overcome the world.
How can you draw strength from the presence of the Holy Spirit? How can you find joy in Jesus' victory over the world amidst your own trials?
