Journey With Jesus 365Sample

How do you express your grief?
Is it through an exaggerated sigh, angry words, or just needing to be alone? For Jesus, rebuking those that claimed to be righteous, He used the word, "woe." Christ uses this word towards the hypocritical Pharisees. As Jesus goes down the list, notice the things that He says "woe" to, and to whom He is rebuking. Why is He calling them out? Do our actions and attitudes fall under any of these same points that Jesus rebuked? If God were to evaluate us according to the standard that Jesus Christ set, would He say to you:
"Great is thy faith," or "Woe unto you?”
