Journey With Jesus 365Sample

When Shall These Things Be?
Jesus said: "…one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." The Word of God is true, and every detail shall come to pass just as He said. In 70 AD, Jerusalem was besieged by the Romans, and the temple was completely destroyed. As it burned, the gold and silver melted down into the stones and they were torn apart in the aftermath, leaving not “one stone upon another”, just as Jesus said. He warned his disciples of false Messiahs and prophets attempting to deceive many, of wars and rumors of wars, natural disasters, and a time of tribulation to come. But we need not worry. Just as clearly as we see the lightning light up the night sky, so shall we clearly see him at his return. Verse 46 says: “Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.” Believers have a clear mandate; let's be about our Father’s business!
