Journey With Jesus 365Sample

The Pharisees and certain scribes found fault with some of Jesus’ disciples and questioned Him regarding tradition. One tradition of their ancestors was to wash their hands often, including before a meal. Jesus answered them by calling them hypocrites, or pretenders. On the outside, following tradition looked good and spiritual, but inwardly, their hearts were far away from Jesus. True worship comes from the heart.
Let’s pause for a moment and do a heart check. Have you been following after Jesus from your heart? How can you be more concerned with walking WITH Him, than doing things FOR Him?
