21 Days of PresenceSample

Day 11: Patience and Endurance
Focus Scripture:
“Let endurance have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” – James 1:4
The society that we live in today is driven by instant gratification. Many of us are accustomed to things being instantaneous and we expect it to be the same way with the things of God. However, that’s not how it works. The things of God will require patiences and endurance.
Some of the best days of this year will come after a season of patience and endurance. These seasons shape us and prepare us with the maturity and stewardship that is needed to handle everything God has in store for us. When we trust in His timing and let endurance work in us, we grow stronger in our faith and more equipped for what lies ahead.
Reflection Prompt:
- What opportunities have required you to wait and endure?
- How have you grown during these waiting seasons?
Call to Action:
If you’re in a season of waiting, take time today to thank God for the growth you’ve experienced, and ask Him for the strength to continue trusting His process.
