Reading With the People of God #9 - FaithfulnessSample

Memorization Challenge:
13 Now here is the king you have chosen, the one you asked for; see, the Lord has set a king over you.- Samuel 12:13
Primer:
Today’s readings center on the faithfulness of redemption. Ruth and Boaz’s story culminates in a beautiful act of redemption as Boaz becomes Ruth’s kinsman redeemer, demonstrating the faithfulness of God to restore what was lost. In John, we see Jesus’ zeal for the purity of the temple, showing His faithful commitment to God’s holiness. These passages remind us that God’s faithfulness is seen in His redemptive actions, whether through human relationships or divine intervention.
Question to reflect on: How does the redemptive faithfulness of God through Jesus impact your understanding of restoration in your own life?
