Remember When I...Sample

Forgiveness and love are closely connected, making it hard to have one without the other. In Luke 7, Jesus points out that the woman’s great love reflects the forgiveness she’s received. Jesus forgives not because it’s easy but because His love for us is so deep. But forgiveness isn’t simple, especially if you’ve experienced deep hurt. Jesus understands how hard it can be to forgive. Choosing to forgive doesn’t mean pretending the hurt didn’t happen or staying close to those who have harmed us. Instead, it’s about finding freedom from bitterness and letting God’s love bring healing.
Today, if you’re struggling with forgiveness, ask God to help you take a small step forward. Talk to a trusted adult about setting healthy boundaries as you work toward forgiveness. Let Jesus’ example remind you that forgiveness is rooted in love, even when it’s challenging.
