A Year in Luke/ActsSample

This chapter is full of color and different threads to pull on. We can read this narrative with the intention of finding God within the story.
We begin with Peter being criticized for sharing the Holy Spirit with Gentile people. The Gentile expansion into the family of God was fresh, and we see Peter recounting his journey and experience with God through a dream. We then see the beginning of the first multi-cultural church.
Oftentimes, we get caught up in these biblical stories and get lost in the text. We insert ourselves as the characters we read about and read it as if to draw morals to apply to our daily lives. If one were to only do this, they would miss out on much more that could be derived.
Take time today to ponder the stories you know in the Scriptures and where God is moving within. After this, try applying this same logic to your own life. Where is God?
