A Year in Luke/ActsSample

Life in the early Church was incredible. This truly was a New Creation Community where needs were met, fellowship was deep, and worship was strong.
“Teaching; fellowship; bread-breaking; prayer, with each flowing into the others. That’s the wonderful rhythm that has sustained Jesus’ followers from that day to this” (p28, The Challenge of Acts).
The end of the chapter provides an embodied example of everything else that has been described about New Creation. The early Church embodies the Kingdom of God on Earth. It is so attractive to others and daily people are added to the Community. The Church is born!
