A Year in Luke/ActsSample

It is as if Jesus did not want the disciples to get stuck on predicting when the Kingdom would be restored because He knew they were still thinking of the Kingdom as a political system like the rest of the world. Over time, Jesus knew that their knowledge of the Kingdom would grow and expand as they began to be witnesses. The Spirit’s Empowerment would give them embodied knowledge of what this Kingdom was really all about.
Take time to bring all of the unknowns before the Lord today.
Lord Jesus, we lay all of the things we are not supposed to know before You. Lead and guide us into the Truth in the Spirit. Amen
