A Year in Luke/ActsSample

Psalm 110 speaks of the priest-king who will come and establish his kingdom. It is easy to see, because of the language used, why some believed the Messiah to be a military leader. We see from Jesus' life and ministry, however, that he was coming to rule, not with force, but with peace. The imagery used here is displaying the complete rule and victory the Lord will bring for his Anointed One.
