A Year in Luke/ActsSample

Jesus does not give up on his mission, he knew that it had wide reaching implications and he must stay on task. Jesus goes into the temple and intentionally sets himself up against the corrupt system that is in place. All of his confrontations with the religious elites had been leading up to this point. He drives out those selling things. This can be seen, when connected to the previous section, as Jesus giving the temple one last chance to start fresh before things get really intense. This does not go down well with the chief priests, scribes, and leaders, though, who begin looking for a way to kill him.
