Navigating Election Season With Biblical WisdomSample

Too often, we look to our government to solve problems you and I could solve for our neighbors.
The government should help.
The government should care for those in need.
The government should enact laws and policies that serve people of all ethnicities and financial positions.
But when Jesus talks about caring for people, He focuses much more on your responsibility and mine than He does on the government.
Jesus makes it very clear in today's passage (and lots of other places) that...
It is our responsibility to love and serve our neighbors.
We can't do everything. But we can do something.
What can you do?
Who can you serve?
What act of kindness can you perform?
What gift of generosity can you give?
