Let's Talk About...What to Do When the Future Seems UnclearSample

What do you tend to worry about most? For a lot of people, the biggest things we worry about—health, safety, friendships, finances, loneliness, the future—are the things we care about the most. While Jesus tells us not to worry, we know that simply turning off our wiring to worry isn’t that easy. That’s when we must remember the rest of Jesus’ words, too. We don’t have to worry because God cares for us. While we don’t know what will happen tomorrow, we follow the God who does. That’s something we can trust. Will it stop us from worrying? Probably not always! But it will help us get through our worries, knowing that God cares about us and can handle them all.
Today, take one of your worries to God in prayer. Ask God to give you peace about what may be ahead in that part of your life and remind you that you’re not in whatever it is alone.
