Be HumbleSample

Humility doesn’t happen by accident! Peter, a follower of Jesus who wrote a lot about humility in the Bible, knew that from experience. He understood that humility is something we have to choose to pursue. The good news is, with God, it’s something we can pursue more easily. It’s God's power in us that lifts us up and gives us both confidence and humility in our everyday lives.
Today, keep working on memorizing this verse. Write it down on a sticky note and put it somewhere you will see it often. Every time you see it, read it out loud. Let it help you commit it to memory and remind you that humility is something worth pursuing.
