God's Redemption Story (The Church: Part 1 )Sample

Acts: Week 1 – Day 2
In the Old Testament, God was for us. We had broken our relationship with him, so he made a plan to rescue us and bring us back to him.
In the New Testament, Jesus came to be with us. He walked as a man, experienced human emotions, and loved those around him. Then he died to pay our price and rose again to conquer death.
On the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit became God in us. When we accept the free gift of God—our price paid, our sin forgiven, our curse defeated—and ask Jesus to be Lord in our lives, we gain the Holy Spirit inside us to guide us, help us, and empower us to live a life of victory over sin.
