New Leaf: Turning the PageSample

It's a Process
Each day will be different. Some days may be easy, and other days may be a little harder.
We have to realize that this journey is a process. We can't become a diamond overnight. We can't become a 3 tier cake in one minute. A farmer isn't planting seeds today, in expectation of a harvest tomorrow. These things take time. We must walk in the grace of God.
Now, that's not an excuse to continue in sin, or stay on the sage page. We have to at least make an effort to try our best. But if we do mess up, we serve a God who is willing to forgive us. So the same grace He gives, we have to learn how to give it to ourselves.
Process denotes that there is a plan in place. We have to learn how to trust that plan, and the God who planned it. Romans 8:28 tells us that everything that we've been through in our life is working together for our good. Jeremiah 29 tells us that the thoughts and plans that God has for us, is for good and not of evil.
Prayer: God, I thank you for your grace. Help me give myself some grace. Help me trust the process. You're the potter, I'm the clay. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
Action: Take a moment and breathe.
About this Plan

This 7-day devotional is inspired by Mike Teezy's brand new album, 'New Leaf'. Each day you'll be provided with stories from Mike's personal life, of when he had to make a change. Partnered with different characters from the Bible who also had to make the decision to change their ways.
