Aaron's Blessing
God instructed Aaron, the high priest, to bless the Israelites with these words: “May the LORD bless you and protect you. May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you. May the LORD show you his favor and give you his peace.”
Doesn’t that just give you a warm, fuzzy feeling? Now, try praying that same thing – only substitute the word “You” with someone else’s name.
We can regularly use prayer to speak blessings over others. If you know someone who needs hope, encouragement, healing, anything – try praying this prayer on their behalf.
