Jesus, My Run-To, Non-Judgmental Best Friend

Jesus says, “Come, All who are weary-troubled, worried, burdened, no matter your concerns. Come, and I will GIVE YOU rest!” He puts out an open-arm offer.

We can choose to run into his nailed-open hands. He agreed for them to be nailed open so we can ALWAYS RUN into them. Any time and all the time, even when we have messed up, because Jesus’ offer is not just to open the door of salvation but also one of an intimate friendship that is truthful, non-judgmental, and provides the substance of a dependable one-to-one relationship.

Mary let her tears roll. In his presence, she knew He fully accepted her just as she was, so her tears were tears of gratitude and love that flowed from a heart that had come to accept the peace that only Jesus could give.
