The Christ-Appointed Mission
The Great Commission is the most common passage people point to when they talk about missions. And though God’s mission is evident on every page of Scripture, Jesus’ final instruction to his disciples warrants that sort of attention. In Matthew 28, Jesus directed his followers to go into all the world, share the good news of salvation, baptize new believers, and teach them to live according to his commands.
We at the International Mission Board recognize the urgency and significance of the Great Commission. As such, we are committed to partnering with churches in order to take the life-changing love of Christ to unreached peoples and places around the world.
We invite you to journey with us on this eleven-day reading plan to learn about different cultures around the world. Let’s pray our way around the globe, remembering our Christ-appointed mission to help others come to know him.
