Connecting With God | Dive DeeperSample

Week 6 | Take Your Encounters Public
Day One
Spend some time in prayer before you begin. Ask God to bring someone to mind while you are reading this word that He wants you to share it with.
- Read John 15 again but this time try reading it in a different version than you did before, look up the definitions of words you don’t know, summarize what the passage is saying in your own words.
- Do some research, read a commentary on verses 18-26. What did you learn from what God has revealed to others through these verses?
- How does Jesus’s command to love others change how you view Him, yourself, and others?
- What does this passage say about how the world will view you for following Christ? Does that make you fearful of taking your encounters with Him public? Why or why not?
- What does the passage say about who can help us testify about God?
- Spend some time in prayer as you close, ask God again to reveal to you a verse or passage to send to a friend. Listen to what God is saying, reach out to that person, and tell them what God has told you.
