7 Mornings With NanaSample

Filled with Love and Peace
To focus on our sin, flaws, and imperfections is to rob ourselves of abiding in Christ’s love and bathing in His peace. The despair over our transgressions is often a greater obstacle than the sin itself, compelling us to run from God when we should run toward and praise Him for providing forgiveness for our sins. But once we confess, we can cast down shame, for God never wants us to live with guilt.
God loves us and calls us His own. He remembers our frame and knows that we are dust. Even when we falter and fail, He is our greatest supporter. When He looks at our trespasses through the precious sacrificial Blood of Jesus, they vanish before the majesty of His love. His arms are always open and waiting to hold us, to envelop us in His magnificent love.
Quietly lay your transgressions before our loving God. Trust in Him, “our everlasting rock,” and allow yourself to experience peace of conscience.
Dear Lord, thank You for Your perfect, amazing love and wonderful, calming peace. May I be consumed by Your love, pouring it back to You and out to others. Amen.
What sin is God calling you to lay at His feet today?
