Sit, Walk, Stand - a 40 Day Walk Through of EphesiansSample

Eph 2:11-18
Jesus came into a context so divided. Divided financially. Culturally. Racially. Even spiritually. As Christianity was birthed out of Judaism, there was developing in parts of the world a separation between the Jewish Christians and the non-Jewish Christians (Gentiles). These divisions caused people to claim, or at least think, that they were better or worse than others. This division is what Jesus broke down.
Ephesians 2:14
For He Himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility,
Jesus is the great equaliser. He is the ultimate bridgebuilder.
Ephesians 2:17
He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near.
Surely this is the mandate of all pastors and preachers but also Christians. To be able to speak to those near and far from Jesus.
Paul says “We have been given the ministry and message of reconciliation” (2 Cor 5:18-19). We ought to build bridges to people from all walks of life and from all points of faith.
About this Plan

Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? The Christian walk can make you feel like striving when really everything has been done for you by Jesus, but there is still so much to be done. This is the tension every Christian walks in. The tension between the NOW & the NOT-YET. We are SEATED with Jesus, now WALK IT OUT, so that you may STAND.
