A Prayer a Day for GraduatesSample

Cleansed From Sin
Be gracious to me, God, according to Your faithful love; according to Your abundant compassion, blot out my rebellion. Completely wash away my guilt and cleanse me from my sin. PSALM 51:1–2
Father, I confess to You and ask Your forgiveness for the ways I try to live for myself instead of for You. Why do I continually get off track and do things my way instead of looking to You first? Please forgive me and cleanse my heart. I want to be ever so sensitive to the leading of Your Spirit and carry a willingness to do, say, and go Your way—whatever You ask. In Jesus’ name I pray.
AMEN.
