Mark - Living in the WordSample

VERSE OF THE DAY:
Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the lake, and a large crowd from Galilee followed. When they heard about all he was doing, many people came to him from Judea, Jerusalem, Idumea, and the regions across the Jordan and around Tyre and Sidon.
- Mark 3:7-8
REFLECTION:
- Over the course of history, there have been seasons where people have been inexplicably drawn in from the corners of the earth to be with Jesus.
- We sometimes call this “Revival.”
- The good news draws people in.
- The message of Jesus is contagious.
- It’s hard to stay away.
JOURNAL POINTS:
- Have you experienced this? Have you been drawn in by a move of God?
- When was the last time you had a hard time walking away from the presence of God?
- When was the last time you were compelled to go somewhere because you knew the Lord was there?

About this Plan

The Gospel of Mark is considered by some to be the most important of the “synoptic” gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John), mainly because it was the earliest written. With brevity and urgency, John Mark describes the birth, life, work and teachings of Jesus Christ. Highlighted with action and vivid storytelling, this Gospel underscores the transformative power of faith and encourages us to remain steadfast in our commitment to Christ.
