Mark - Living in the WordSample

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything—all she had to live on.”
- Mark 12:44
REFLECTION:
- It wasn’t the amount of money that mattered. It was the widow’s commitment to making everything available to God.
- She was willing to offer it all. Her only source of finances, she GAVE.
- She kept NOTHING from God.
- You don’t have to give away all you have to follow the Lord. But He wants you to be willing.
JOURNAL POINTS:
- What have you held back from the Lord?
- What is He asking you to give?

About this Plan

The Gospel of Mark is considered by some to be the most important of the “synoptic” gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John), mainly because it was the earliest written. With brevity and urgency, John Mark describes the birth, life, work and teachings of Jesus Christ. Highlighted with action and vivid storytelling, this Gospel underscores the transformative power of faith and encourages us to remain steadfast in our commitment to Christ.
