Evangelism at Easter: To Be Silent or to Shout?

DAY 5 OF 7

Today is the day of salvation!

Let someone hear from you today the Good News about God's plan of salvation for them. Because this day could be the day of salvation! It's so wonderful to realize that through your obedience to God and small efforts, someone's life could be profoundly changed. Be sure to try to tell someone about Christ today.

For an example of evangelistic conversation, let's consider Jesus' conversation with the Samaritan woman at the well of Jacob. He Himself initiated and started the conversation (John 4:5-7). Reflect on how He did this. He sparked the interest of this woman and intrigued her (John 4:10-12). Christ began to reveal to her the essence of the Gospel (John 4:13-15) and talked to her about her problem (John 4:16-18). He shared with her the most important information for her salvation, using the situation from her personal life. The result of their dialogue was a complete transformation of the Samaritan woman's thinking and the beginning of her own evangelism.

Tell the Gospel to someone you meet today. Do it sincerely, praying and asking the Holy Spirit to guide you to the person who needs to hear the Good News about the resurrection of Jesus Christ today.

Pray: Lord my God, I come to you in prayer asking for help to share about You with someone I meet today. Holy Spirit, I ask you to guide me to someone who needs healing of the soul and a change of mind. Lead this conversation and soften the heart of this person so that they may receive the gift of God's salvation by faith. Amen.
