The Thin Line Between Fear & FaithSample

Day 1: The Line
Life is hard.
Any number of circumstances can challenge our faith. Difficult situations often beat down our resolve to follow God’s commands. There’s something about that constant negative pressure reality can bring that has us searching for relief. When we don’t get the relief in the timing or way we want, we have a tendency to follow our own solution.
That line is the distinction between fear and faith.
The point at which we choose our own way because we believe it is superior to God’s is when we begin to live in fear instead of acting in faith.
In this devotional we are going to look at 3 examples from Scripture where followers of God chose fear instead of faith. We’re going to look at the reasons why so that we might then have the skill to analyze where the fear/faith line is in our own lives.
Then we will look at how to get back on the faith side of the tracks. Throughout your time in this devotional be in prayer for God to show you any areas he wants to expand your faith in.
About this Plan

Sometimes the line between fear and faith is razor thin. A moment, a decision, or a split-second choice can demonstrate whether we are living in fear or acting in faith. In the midst of difficulty, how do we ensure our faith remains in God and no other source? This devotional covers how to remain in faith or return if we’ve left.
