You aren’t simply a slave, servant, or saint of God. No, you are a son or daughter of God. You have legal right to the family business and fortune of heaven. The will has been executed. The courts have been satisfied. Your spiritual account has been funded. You are a co-heir with Jesus and a child of the King. The Bible says Jesus is our older brother, and God is our loving Father. Do you live like it? Do you live as a prince or princess? Do you believe you fight for victory or from victory? Do you hesitate to approach God with your struggles or challenges because you think he is too busy, distracted, or uncaring? Or are you just trying to do it all on your own? Know this. You will never exhaust his resources. You will never cause the heavenly well to run dry. You will never be turned away or ignored. Understand your place in the family. You come to God, not as a stranger, but as an heir to the promise. You approach God’s throne as a child of the King with full confidence.
