Do All Roads Lead to God?Sample

As a contemporary illustration, imagine being trapped on the roof top of a blazing ten story building. At first, you are terrified, but then you discover there is a fire escape! Spiritually, because of their philosophy, universalists will then either (1) choose to deny that flames exist, (2) debate the fire escape’s design, or (3) actually prefer to willingly perish rather than accept its singular reality!
Spiritually, singularity is explained by Paul to the church in Corinth, “…as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive” (1 Corinthians 15:22). The key to benefitting from this essential truth is to realize that only “in Christ” are we made alive. He is God’s one eternal escape route for mankind!
Not using the one available fire escape because you would prefer having many to choose from sounds irrational, but that accurately describes a universalist’s logic. They reject the Trinity and mankind’s God-given opportunity to be saved! Such reasoning disregards both sin’s power and God’s sacrificial provision for our deliverance!
Remember that Jesus declared – “The way is narrow that leads to life” (Matthew 7:14).
