Family life, beautiful as it is, can sometimes be a wellspring of anxiety. We face uncertain times – the cost-of-living soars, the job market teeters, housing prices going up and the list goes on, from college tuition to medical expenses. My affection for my family is boundless, yet I confess, the desire to perfect every aspect of their lives can be a daunting quest. It is in these moments that we must remember to place our anxieties at His feet. 1 Peter 5:7 offers a comforting promise: “Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." By entrusting our worries to Him, He lightens our burdens and soothes our spirits. We need only to reach out.
