Saved for Good Works
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10 (ESV).
We are God’s workmanship and He created us for a purpose. God has made us unique to serve Him and His purpose on earth. We are not saved by our good works, but are saved to do good works. God has prepared good work in advance for us to do, and He wants us to walk in them. What specific good works do you feel God has prepared for you, and how can you actively engage in them?
Prayer: Father God, Thank you for creating me unique with a purpose. Please guide me as I follow you and use me to do the good works you have prepared in advance for me to do. Let my life bring honour and glory to You. In Jesus name, Amen.
